In Loving Memory of Two Inspiring Young Men
Tommy
The Heart Behind Share Community Tommy held a very special place in my heart. In many ways, he is the reason Share Community exists today. Tommy had a way of touching people that was impossible to forget. Someone once said he had a bit of "Peter Pan syndrome" - he never really grew up, but in all the very best ways. He carried a spirit of joy, innocence, and authenticity that reminded everyone around him what truly matters. He was loved by many and brought light into every room he entered. Tommy had a remarkable way of connecting with people, often without saying very much at all. When I created Share Community, I chose purple as our colour in honour of him. It represents compassion, dignity, and the deep impact one person can have on the lives of others. Tommy may no longer be here, but his spirit lives on in everything we do. He left an imprint on my heart that will last forever - and through Share Community, his legacy continues to inspire connection, kindness, and belonging for so many others.
Aaron
Aaron was someone who truly believed that every person he met was simply a friend he hadn't made yet. He approached the world with openness and a genuine curiosity about people, which made it easy for others to connect with him. Family meant everything to Aaron. It was always clear that the people in his life mattered deeply to him, and he carried that love with him in the way he interacted with others. Aaron also believed in giving things his all. Whatever he was doing, he tried to do it to the very best of his ability. He faced life with determination and persistence. Aaron could also keep you on your toes. He challenged those around him, often pushing people to think differently, respond quickly, and stay engaged. But those challenges were part of what made him memorable and special. Aaron left behind many moments, lessons, and memories for those who knew him. His presence reminded us that connection, effort, and authenticity are what truly matter.
