Matteo
Matteo began his journey with the Share Community in 2022. He joined us with a strong desire for independence, and our dedicated staff guided him not only in pursuing his dreams but also in understanding how to achieve them while being a responsible and engaged citizen .
Over time, it became clear that Matteo had a deep passion a strong commitment to personal growth. Through an assessment of his skills and interests, we took on opportunities to introduce Matteo to the work force Recognizing his potential and understanding he struggles with a large social environment we offered him the opportunity for piecework at SunTech Greenhouse Farm, located in Manotick.
After observing his performance and commitment, Suntech owners were so impressed with his work ethic and dedication. As a result, Suntech have invited Matteo to continue on a more regular basis , where we believe he can further develop his skills and contribute meaningfully to the community.

Riley Falconer
Riley was one of the very first young men to join the Share Community program when it began in 2015. Over the years, we have had the privilege of watching Riley grow in confidence, independence, and determination.
Riley’s journey has been a wonderful reminder that progress doesn’t always happen quickly — sometimes slow and steady truly does win the race. Through patience, perseverance, and a strong work ethic, Riley has built meaningful skills and experiences that continue to shape his future.
Today, Riley is proudly working at two locations — a local grocery store and a greenhouse – where he contributes his time and talents with dedication. One of Riley’s most significant milestones, however, has been moving out of his family home and into a semi-independent living arrangement, an achievement that reflects just how far he has come.
Watching Riley’s journey unfold has been incredibly special for our community. His growth reminds us that with the right support, opportunities, and belief in one another, remarkable progress is always possible.
